Sklavenitis is a Greek-owned supermarket chain operating in Greece. Since March 1, 2017, the company is the largest retailer in Greece with 560 stores in Greece, followed by Greek Masoutis and Alpha-Beta Vassilopoulos (Ahold Delhaize Group).

The average Sklavenitis store is significantly larger than most of its competitors, thus explaining the company’s ability to drive sales growth with a relatively small number of stores. The company continues to belong to the Sklavenitis family, although it is rumored that international retail giants such as Tesco and Walmart are interested in acquiring the company.
